Getting  Involved!

CHEFS   PAIRINGS    HEALTHCARE   VOLUNTEER   SOCIAL MEDIA 

CHEFS, COOKS, BAKERS & PASTERY CHEFS

JUDGE - You'll be judging the recipes as they come in and are able to do so from the convenience of your own home in one of our groups' sessions at the GWCC.

RECIPE COOKS & TASTER - You'll need to prepare the recipe verbatim as it was written by the contestant and then taste it.  You may do so either by yourself, with friends or colleges or if you would like to get a bit more involved to put the dish on the menu of your restaurant and ask your patrons to participate in the voting.

COOK WITH SENIOR - Cook with a winner and have your picture taken to be published in the cookbook.

RECIPE SCREENING - Read through submissions and group them into categories.

Note: Participating Chef will get their own page on the Alive & Cooking website.

TASTING - If you would like to have your restaurant participate in the tastings we will arrange everything you need for a successful tasting with your patrons' participation in judging the dish.

SOMMELIERS, MIXOLOGISTS, BREWERS & DISTILERS

TASTING - Have your restaurant participate in the tastings. We will arrange everything you need for a successful tasting with your patrons.

PAIRING - Review the winning recipes and pair the dishes with a wine of your choice.

VOLUNTEERS

SOCIAL MEDIA - Handle all the Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and any social media accounts.

HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS

Doctors will provide "Healthful Hints" for the pages of the Alive & Cooking Cookbook.  Each chapter will be filled with hints and tips to improve the quality of life.
