Dr. Jamie Michael is a Georgia Girl through and through. Milledgeville, a small city southeast of Atlanta, Georgia, is her hometown, and while growing up there she attended John Milledge Academy for 12 years.  Leaving home after graduation was hard but she headed off to LaGrange College where she majored in Biochemistry, and served as vice president of the Kappa Delta sorority.

 

Throughout college she tailored her education based on her plans of attending medical school, but God had a different plan for her. A week before graduation, she got really sick and had a terrible medical experience that convinced her that medical school was not the place for her.  Instead, she became a Chemist  for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.

 

In 2007, Dr. Jamie married an amazing man, Tommy, who chose to pick up everything and change jobs when God led her back to school to become a Chiropractor.  And thus began her four-year journey at Life University Chiropractic College.

 

While there, She joined Epik Missions on two Chiropractic mission trips to Ghana in West Africa, and it changed her life forever.  “My time ministering to the people of Ghana set me on a path to reestablish my own relationship with Jesus Christ.”
