Dr. Atul Gupta is trained in both Surgery and Emergency Medicine. He was the director of the emergency department in the Lowcountry, covering five hospitals. Gupta also earned certifications in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. He later decided to become a Concierge Physician on Hilton Head, Island, SC. He realized his skills would be put to better use if he were able to spend more quality time with each of his patients, getting to know then not just as a patients but as people. Therefore, being able to better tend to their medical needs.

He has been named chairman of the American Heart Association’s 20th annual Heart Ball of the Southern Coast. In this role as chairman, Dr. Gupta worked to raise money for cardiovascular disease research.

He helps his patients relieve pain, stay healthy and active through customized innovative treatments according to their specific needs through proper diet, nutrition, and exercise. He also performs minor procedures when needed and still finds time to be a very hands on dad.
